Sandra Jean Link, age 59 of Middletown, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was born February 19, 1962 in Kittery, Maine to Charles and Christine (Dyro) McVicar. She married David Link on November 1, 1997 in Dayton, OH at St. Helen's Catholic Church.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, David; sisters, Julie (Michael) Althoff and Diane (Harold) Witt; three brothers, David (Christine) McVicar, Christopher (Tammy) McVicar, Jeffrey (Deborah) McVicar; twelve nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Sandy graduated from Stebbins High School in 1981. She worked as a manager for many years at McDonald's, Wendy's and currently at Chick-Fil-A in the Dayton area. Sandy enjoyed crocheting, crafting and making her famous chocolate chip cookies with the recipe handed down from her Mom. One of her great joys was attending events for her nieces and nephews, and she loved them dearly. Sandy and David traveled around in his Cadillac, the "Elvis Mobile", visiting various places of interest and shopping. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Sandy's name to the American Diabetes Foundation or the Dynamic Senior Solutions Foundation, Kettering, OH.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
