Sandra Lee (Fryer) Christie, born on April 12, 1939, passed away on May 8, 2013.
Sandra retired from the University of Dayton in 2012, where she served as Administrative Assistant of the Womens Gender Studies program,Music Department and Deans office.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son, James Michael Christie; mother & father, Dorothy & Wilbur Fryer; and Special Uncle George Wilder.
Sandra is survived by her Special Friend, Judith Martin,SSJ, children, Steve Christie and Terri Law; 5 grandchildren: Andrew Reagan, Erin (Adam) Remillard, Ryan Christie, Claire Christie and Spencer Christie; 2 great-grandchildren: Lennon and Marley Remillard; Special Aunt Betty Wilder and Honored friend, Reverend Christie Joachim Pillai, OMI.
She gave her heart and love to all she was ever near.
There will be a visitation 2-5:00 PM, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A second visitation will be held from 9-10 AM at the University of Dayton Chapel, just prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Monday, May 13, 2013. Reverend Gerald Chinchar,SM, Celebrant. Burial at David's Cemetery.
