Sandra Kay Hines

Sandra Kay (nee Bobo) Hines, 84, of Dayton, formerly Springfield, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024. She was the devoted daughter of Fred and Catherine (Bagford) Bobo. She was the sister of Jerry Bobo and (late Norma). Sandra graduated from Greenon High School in 1957. Sandra spent her career as a dental assistant for 43 years in Springfield, Ohio. She spent the bulk of her career as the dental assistant of the late Dr. Christie H. Carter, DDS.
She leaves behind her three sons, Leo H. Grumbley, III (Herb) and wife, Zoe, Richard L. Grumbley, and wife, Martha, and Douglas S. Hines and wife, Catherine, nephew Michael L. Bobo and wife, Kathy, great nephew Chris Bobo. Sandra was the loving grandmother of Meg Grumbley, Hannah (Cullen) Reinartz, Megan LeVesseur, and Zane LeVesseur and two great-grandsons.

Sandra will be greatly missed by her many cousins and friends. She was a former member of the Cincinnati Rosy Reds and enjoyed reading, baking, and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held at the Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432) on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 5-7 PM. Visitation on Saturday, February 24, from 9-10 AM with service following at 10 AM at the Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel.
