Sandra Dunfee

Sandra Lynn Dunfee, age 59 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1961 in Mason County, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Carolyn Grubbs.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Grubbs and Lenny Grubbs.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 25 years, Darrell Dunfee; sisters, Lisa (Stan) Houdieshell, Paula (Dennis) Kelley and Elizabeth (Kenneth) Creed; in-laws, Connie Grubbs and Gary Dunfee; several nieces and nephews; feline babies, Little Girl and Sadie and close friends, Pam and Crystal as well as other extended family and friends.

Sandra attended Wilbur Wright High School and completed her nursing certification with Fortis College. She was a practicing LPN for 30 plus years and was employed by various long-term care facilities in the greater Dayton area. Sandra enjoyed many past-time when she wasn't working, including caring for her cats, social networking, reality television and indulging app games. She will always be remembered for her faith in Jesus, kind heart, generosity and friendship.
