Sandra Wolfe Dowler

Sandra Wolfe Dowler, age 79, of West Carrollton, Ohio, passed away on May 27, 2022. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 3, 1942, the daughter of the late Hampton and Laura Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Robert Dowler, and all nine of her siblings. She will be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

Sandy was spirited – a woman who worked in an industrial world for decades, who loved Elvis, who spent many hours in casinos, who played poker as well as Trivial Pursuit with her brothers and sisters. Friends and family could count on Sandy to make terrific homemade cheese balls and buckeyes for parties.

Sandy was also quietly kind and thoughtful to friends and family in need. She crocheted endlessly and gave many baby blankets as gifts.

She will be missed.

A graveside service will be held at Bear Creek-Hillgrove Cemetery, 172 N. Union Road, Dayton, Ohio 45427 at 11 AM, on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, followed by refreshments.
