Sandra Dishman

Sandra E. "Sandy" Dishman (nee, HANSHAW), age 67 of Riverside, passed away August 22, 2014. She was born December 18, 1946 in Dayton to the late Charles and Martha Hanshaw. In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Hanshaw; brothers: Doug Hanshaw and Dave Hanshaw.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 48 years, William "Bill" Dishman; daughter, Kimberly (Bill) Grathwohl; granddaughter, Chelsea Phipps; sisters: Pam (Karl) Harner and Sherry (Tom) Zimmerman; sisters-in-law: Theresa Hanshaw and Jackie Hanshaw; special cousin, Shirley Moore; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 5-7 pm. Pastor Kathy Pittman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sandy's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
