DAMRON, Sandra (nee Combs)
age 64 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Sandra was born in Lynch, Kentucky April 14, 1941 and resident of Dayton, Ohio area most of her life. Sandra attended Westwood Grade School and was a member of the Patterson Co-Op Class of 1959. Sandra spent her working career at NCR, Dayton and GM plant of Kettering. She was preceded in death by her father, Towsnel Combs, Sr. of Kentucky and Dayton, Ohio. She leaves to mourn her passing: mother, Mary M. Mullins and husband, Eroy of Beavercreek; brothers, Townsel (Carol)Combs of Dayton and Keith W. (Joyce) Combs Sr. of Hillsboro; special aunt Ella Washing of Dayton and a number of other aunts and uncles. Sandra leaves also: a son Donald and several grandchildren, especially her granddaughters, Claudia and Tonya, to whom she devoted much love and nurturing. Her survivors also include: nephews, Townsel L. (Laura) Combs of Dayton, Todd M. Combs of California, Keith W. (Deb) Combs Jr. of Michigan, Kirk (Amy) Combs of Blanchester, Kyle Combs of Hillsboro and Tamara (Larry) McNew (nee Combs) of Brookville and many great nephews and nieces. In addition to her many friends, Sandra also leaves her special neighbors, Brenda (Curtis) Coldwell and their granddaughter, Brooke and Jim Sabo, all of Dayton with whom she shared her life. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
