Samuel P. Wiedenheft
Age 64, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
Sam was born January 11, 1945 in Dayton to the late Charles John & Elizabeth Rose (Donisi) Wiedenheft. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles John Jr and George Louis Wiedenheft.
Sam is survived by his nieces, Charlotte (Charlie) Lambert, Tina Marie (Steve) Brown, Annalies (Richard) Matheson, Tammy Lynn (Brian) Rice, Terrie Ann (& fiancé, John Muench) Wiedenheft; nephews, Tony Wiedenheft, Joseph Paul Wiedenheft and Charles William Wiedenheft; sisters-in-law, Mona Marie Wiedenheft and Norma Sue Wiedenheft; cousin, Arline (Scott) Deacon; grand nieces & nephews, Richard L. (Kristy) Matheson II, Luke A. (Margie) Matheson, Brittany E. Rice, Ashley L. Rice; great grand nieces & nephews, Micah B. Matheson, Annaliese E. Matheson, George Maguire Matheson; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Sam played hockey for many years at Hara Arena and was employed by Dayton Gear & Tool. Cooking was his passion. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday (3/1) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m.
