Samuel J. Guy, age 88 of Dayton, passed away August 15, 2015. He was born October 8, 1926 in LaFollette, TN to the late Alex and Lockie Guy. In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Bolden; and several siblings.
Sam is survived by his wife, Evelyn Guy; daughter, Betty Bolden; brother, Tommy Guy; and sister, Dorcas Thomas.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 pm. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
Contributions may be made in Sam's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
