June 27, 1951 — August 31, 2015
Samuel E. Fannin, age 64, of Moraine, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 31, 2015 after a long battle with lymphoma.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era.
Sam is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Peggy Fannin; children, Molly (Charlie) Rowell and Casey (Shelby Gresse) Fannin; granddaughter, Kayleigh Rowell; sisters-in-law, Susan (James) McKee and Nancy Fichtner; nephew, Maj. Matthew (Jennifer) Fichtner; mother-in-law, Betty Miller; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The celebration of his life will follow at 11am, with Pastor Tim Dotson officiating. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
