Samantha LeeAnn Wirt, lovingly know as Sami, age 26, of Dayton, passed away on January 12, 2024. She was born on November 2, 1997 to Douglas Wirt and Joyce Davis.
She was unapologetically herself. She said whatever came to her mind with sweet humor and no hint of a filter. She had a kind and generous nature, and she was full of compassion for others. She faced any struggle with strength and grace, and her daughter, Aamilah, was the sunshine of her life.
Samantha was always making everyone around her laugh. She was full of life and a pure joy to be around. She was like a bright beacon and could light up a room, and her presence will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.
Samantha is preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert Wirt, Carlos Hill and Judy Hill; and her step-father, Mike Davis.
Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Aamilah Wasmuth; her parents, Douglas Wirt and Joyce Davis; her step-mother, Stephanie Dill; her siblings: Ashley Wirt, Haleigh Davis, D.J. Wirt and Josh Davis; nieces: Sky Shivers and Stella Brooks; and many extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00pm. Following her services, family and friends are welcome to Celebrate the Life she lived at VFW Post 3283 on Nebraska Avenue in Huber Heights.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations in Sami's memory towards the college education of her daughter, Aamilah Wasmuth, at Day Air Credit Union.
