Salome' M. Carroll

Salomé Mattria Carroll passed away at the Hospice of Dayton on September 14th, 2023 at the age of 49. She was born on September 12th, 1974 in Dayton, OH. She is preceded in death by her father, Matt Chever and her uncle, Michael Dobbins. Salomé is survived by her mother, April Carroll; daughter, Willow Battigaglia; sisters, Angel Chever (Desmond Terrell), Mattrina Moon (Donald Moon), Demetré Carroll; as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends: Including but not excluding Peter Carroll, Joy Carroll, Helen Blankenship, Crystal Gibson, Le Thu Tram, Duy Tran, Valerie Hsu, Michelle Tram, Anthony Tram, Jessica Jose, Gary Knight, Terry Knight, Mary Ellis, and Salomé's boyfriend, Steve Wentzel.

As a child Salomé was very energetic and loved art and music. She loved creating stories and cooking. Salomé was a talented, lovely person who is loved by many people. She will leave an empty space in our hearts and will be truly missed. We all love her very much!

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow. Pastor David Tackett to officiate.

Salomé's final resting place will be at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, 118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH 45409.
