Sally Sparks, age 86, of Germantown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
Sally was born in Wolfcoal, KY on March 22, 1931 to the late Alex & Nannie Turner.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Charles Sparks; brothers, Arch, Sam, Logan, Jessie, Wilson and T.J. Turner; sisters, Susan and Ginny.
She is survived by her children, Janis (David) Boggs, Ruth (Gary) Morris, Kathy (Gerald) Yates and Keith (Jazell) Raleigh; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her beloved dog, Bella; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11am at the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church (6506 Gillen Ln, Miamisburg, OH 45342), with Pastor Frank Kelly officiating. Sally will be laid to rest next to her husband, Charles, at Highland Cemetery in Miamisburg.
