Sally E. Griffin

Sally E. Griffin, age 65 of Dayton, reunited with her husband, Robert "Wayne" Griffin and her mother, Lucy Marie (Hill) Williams on December 7, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1952 in Corbin, KY to her late parents, John Sr. and Lucy Marie Williams. In addition to her husband and parents, Sally was preceded her in death by her brother, Carl W. Williams.

She is survived by her brothers, John (Dorothy) Williams and Harold (Jo) Williams; step-son, Brian W. (Erin) Griffin; 3 nephews, Jeffrey (Tara) Williams, Steven (Jessica) Williams and Brian Williams; 1 niece, Lisa (Lars) Schilling; granddaughter, Claire; 9 great nieces and nephews; 3 great great-nephews and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

Sally graduated from Stebbins High School in 1970. She then attended Sinclair Community College where she earned an Associate's Degree of Medical Encoding. Sally was employed at Miami Valley Hospital and Wright State Physicians for many years.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by all that knew her.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 12 at the funeral home with Pastor Jody Mutter officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and mother at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
