Age 85, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Patriot Ridge Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Otto A. Burgess; her parents, John & Myrtle Cable; and by two brothers & four sisters.
Sally is survived by four children, Frances & James Blevins, Bobbie & Chuck Horton, Ronald Kipp and Otto A. Burgess, Jr.; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.
She retired from Grandview Hospital in 1985. During her many years working at the hospital Sally performed a variety of tasks and she was very proud of her contributions to patient care.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
