Sally Dixon

DIXON, Sally age 85 of New Carlisle, formerly of Bowlingtown, KY, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Belle Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Dixon, her daughter Vickie (Dixon) Wise, her parents Calloway and Dora Bowling and 2 brothers Rufus and Alonzo Bowling. She is survived by her 7 daughters Laura and husband Kenneth Horn of Tipp City, OH, Diane and husband Rick Hensley of Tipp City, OH, Marilyn Dixon of Riverside, OH, Carolyn Dixon of Fort Pierce, FL, Annette Dixon of New Lebanon, OH, Elsie and husband Butch Barnes of Lexington, NC, Ruth Ann and husband Marvin Hill of Lexington, NC; 1 son Richard Dixon Jr. of Chillicothe, OH; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 1 brother Preston and wife Faye Fee of New Hampshire; 1 sister Viola Fee of Bowling Green, KY; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law Billy Joe and Burley Dixon both of Huber Heights, OH; and a host of other relatives and friends. Sally loved raising her children, music and playing the piano. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road, with Pastor Lanny Kelley officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Belle Manor for all the love and care given to Sally.
