Sallie Horner
Sallie E. Horner, age 94 of Dayton, passed away March 13, 2011. She was born June 10, 1916 in Gainesboro, TN to the late William and Minnie Stafford. In addition to her parents, Sallie was preceded in death by her husband, John Hampton Horner; and grandson, Rick.
Sallie is survived by her son, Lawrence Horner; daughter, Rosa Nell Pharris; son, Dannie J. Horner; grandchildren: Gerri, Johnny, Kathy, Susan, Misty, Danielle, Michelle and Jessica; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Sallie was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
