Ruth N. Ward "Norine", age 73 of Xenia, passed away August 4, 2016. She was born December 5, 1942 in Jamestown, OH to the late Marion Lyons and Ruth Lyons Harness. In addition to her parents, Norine was preceded in death by her brothers: Bill Lyons and Bob Lyons.
Norine is survived by her husband, Duteil Ward; sons: Bill (Tammy) Ward and Ron (Connie) Ward; grandchildren: Ashley (Jacob) White, Nathan (Kristen) Ward, Joshua (Chelsea) Ward and Rebekah Ward; great-grandchildren: Landen White, Sadie White, Halle Ward and Henry Ward; sister, Judy (Ernie) Antes; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Nancy Lyons, Marilyn Eastham Ward, Jim & Joyce Ward; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 am on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Valley Road, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to John Hagee Ministries, Exodus II-JHM, P.O. Box 1400, San Antonio, TX 78295 (www.jhm.org) or IPCC Global Missions, Brazil, P.O. Box 439, US 42 SW, London, OH 43140 (www.ipcc.cc/GlobalMissions.htm).
