Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and enjoyed taking care of her family. Her sport in life was dusting and using her bleach at warp speed. We can see her polishing the streets of gold and bleaching the angels' robes to pristine white. A member of Far Hills Baptist Church in Centerville, Ruth was a Sunday school teacher, children's choir helper, and preparer of Wednesday night suppers. If the church doors were open, she was there.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Reverend Ed Doolin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:30 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Ruth.
