Ruth Anne Taylor, age 84, of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2023. She was born on September 11, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to the late Warner and Tressa Cline.
Ruth Anne graduated from Calvary Bible College in 1961, where she majored in Missions and minored in music. She played the piano for her church. Following graduation, she completed two Missionary Internships in Oklahoma and in Illinois. She married Frank Taylor on June 21, 1963. Ruth Anne raised three children, was a caregiver for some of her grandchildren, and she ministered to a countless number of neighborhood children over the years. She was known to her family and friends as a Prayer Warrior.
In addition to her parents, Ruth Anne was preceded in death by her siblings: Raymond, Warner Jr., and Rosemary.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Frank Taylor; her children: Timothy (Stephanie) Taylor, Joanna (Mike) Quenguan, and Jonathan (Kimberly) Taylor; her sister, Dorothy (Wiley) Prentice; her 24 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Christ Our Hope Anglican Church, 2709 Old Yellow Springs Road, in Fairborn, Ohio, with a funeral service beginning at 5:00pm. If you wish to send the family flowers, they may be sent to the church.
Ruth Anne will be laid to rest at Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas at a later date.
