STOCKSLAGER, Ruth, 86, of Dayton passed away at her home Monday, April, 19, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents Guy and Rose Hudgins; brother Franklin; sisters Pauline and Virginia. Ruth is survived by her husband Frank D. Stockslager; sons W.M. Armstrong, Terry (Cindy) Armstrong, and Larry Armstrong; daughters Pamala (Carl) Ollila, and Patricia Armstrong; step daughter Connie (Verle) Taulbee, of Arizona; very special friend Susan Kattz; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Ruth was born in Decatur, IL on July 30, 1923. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Schools, Broadview Academy in LaGrange IL and graduated from Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa in 1942. She worked at Bonnie Lee's in Dayton for 16 years, retiring in 1977. Ruth was a caring, loving, and kind person who never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
