Ruth Mabel Stapleton

Ruth Mabel Stapleton, age 66 of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1956 in Miami, Florida to the late Fred Bates and Jean Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Stapleton.
Ruth is survived by three sons, Jason Stapleton, Jeremy (Jessica) Stapleton, and Joseph (Linda) Stapleton; one grandson, Landon Stapleton; and her grandpuppy, Coco. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Ruth will be laid to rest alongside her mother Jean and her son Christopher in Woodland Cemetery.
