Ruth Staeuble

Ruth Edna Staeuble, 77, of Miamisburg, entered her Eternal Home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was born December 12, 1944, in Dayton to the late Kenneth and Ruth (Hall) Wilkie.

Ruth met Michael on a blind date in 1963, and accepted his proposal on Christmas 1964. They were married in May of 1967 and spent 55 wonderful years building a life and family together. She was a devoted wife, mom, and grandma.

Ruth experienced many different employment opportunities as an office worker in various business environments, from legal to real estate financing. Her favorite part of working was making numerous friendships over the years.

Ruth and Michael lived in several cities in Arizona for 22 years including Tucson, Surprise, and Marana. They were members of St. Mark the Evangelist, where Ruth was part of the church choir in Oro Valley, Arizona. In 2020, they moved back to the Dayton area.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Barbara.

She will be dearly missed by her family, including her husband of 55 years, Michael; her children, Matthew (Mary), LuAnn (Alvin), and Brenda; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Judith; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Family will receive guests on Sunday, October 30th, 2022 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 31st, 2022 beginning at 11:00AM at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 N Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449. Her final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
