Ruth Marie Slauter
March 12, 1933 — August 18, 2020
Ruth Marie Slauter, age 87 of New Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020. She was born March 12, 1933 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Chapman.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Slauter; as well as several siblings.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard; daughter, Linda Stagner; granddaughter, Jessica; great grandchildren, Cooper and Riley; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to Phil and Jane Pierce, the Wyenn family, Mark and Kathy Spencer, and the family and friends surrounding us at this time.
Ruth took great pride in her home and her yard. She loved being outside tending to her flowers. She loved to get together with family and her friends, Barbara Brewer and Sonya Ewald. Ruth will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
