Ruth Weaver
Age 97, a long-time resident of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007, at her retirement residence in Treasure Island, Florida. Ruth as a former employee of the Springfield Auditors office. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce H. Schardt; granddaughter, Dianne Cashman; great grandson, Joshua Eugene Cashman; and by a close friend, David L. Berkshire. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Weaver and by two brothers, Jess Stewart and David Stewart. She lived a long and fun-filled life and she said she was ready to "go see Grant." The family will be receiving friends from 12 Noon – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Clyde Waites officiating. Interment Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield.
