Ruth C. Mance

Mance, Ruth C., 93, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jack Mance, Sr., son, Jack Everett Mance, her beloved mother, Lillian Bates, father, Robert Fair, sister, Mary Farrow with whom she lived at Heartland of Centerville, and her other siblings, Sandy, Tommy, Jerry, Barbara, and Bill Bates.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Georgetta Mance Key, son, George Jack Mance, Jr.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, also a host of nieces and nephews.

She was retired from Rike's Kumler in downtown Dayton after 35 years. Ruth was a member of the ABWA for many years and enjoyed many trips across the country with them. She lived at Heartland of Centerville for nine years and loved to play Bingo with her many friends there, who will miss her deeply. Ruth was also an avid card player.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 10:00am Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., where funeral service will follow at 10:00am. Burial at Woodland Cemetery.
