Ruth M. Vandenbrock, age 82 of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son.
Ruth is survived by her children, Julie (Mason) Hunter and John Vandenbrock; grandchildren, Joshua (Amy) Hunter, Daniel (Brittany) Hunter, Megan Hunter and Jim Vandenbrock; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Alexa, Colton Hunter; brother, Herb Hofferberth; and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
