Ruth Landis

LANDIS, Ruth L., age 92, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Eldon Landis and infant grandson, James Collins III.

Ruth is survived by her children, Linda Collins, Steve Landis, and Sharon (Gary) Dean; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, as well as many special family friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Crossroads Hospice, Dr. Lawhorne, and the staff at MVH Unit 5NE for all of the loving care they provided to Ruth.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the funeral home with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, Englewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
