Ruth E. Lairson

Ruth E. Lairson, age 80 of Vandalia, passed away May 6, 2019. She was born February 19, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William and Frances Bowers. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lairson, Sr.; sisters: Rose and Effie; and brothers: Hilbert and William.
Ruth is survived by her children: Cheryl (Terry) Salyer, Jeanette Lairson, Kimberly (Milo) Pratt, Kenneth (Regina) Lairson and Jeffrey Lairson; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Blanche (Mike) Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ruth provided loving care to many children for more than 40 years. She enjoyed baking wedding cakes for many relatives and friends over the years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 North Dixie Drive, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to Vitas Hospice. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
