Ruth L. Salmon

SALMON, Ruth L. (Shea) age 94, of Newbury, Ohio, formerly of Dayton, Ohio and Ft. Myers, Florida, died July 12, 2009. The widow of William E. Salmon Sr., Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Robert Shea. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, William, Jr. (Norma), grandchildren, Karla (Tony) Robinson, Colette (Michael) Vaigl, and Brad (Emily) Salmon, and great-grandchildren, Lauren Robinson and Greta Salmon. Ruth was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed hiking, crafting, and visiting with family. She was a "Heavenly Duster" in St. Gabriel's parish in Concord, Ohio, among other volunteer activities, and loved Florida beaches, sewing, collecting shells, and boating on the Gulf waterways. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, July 17, 2009 at St. Albert the Great, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, OH 45429. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to a favorite charity.
