Ruth Hohl

Ruth Ann Hohl, age 85 of Dayton, passed away January 4, 2015. She was born November 6, 1929 in Dayton to the late Joseph A. and Luella (Neumann) Hohl. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by two older infant sisters: Thelma and Norma Hohl.

Ruth is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Jeanne Hohl; sister and brother-in-law: Phyllis and Leonard Seidl; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very close friend and helper, Arvinia Hicks.

Ruth was a lifetime member of St. Mary Church, where she was active in the choir, ladies society and was a volunteer in the church office for several years. She was a graduate of the class of 1943 from St. Mary and 1948 from Julienne High School. Ruth retired after 30 years from Ohio Bell in 1982.

A private service will be held for the family at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to St. Mary Church, Huffman Place or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
