RUTH ANN GRIMM, age 76 of Xenia, earned her angel wings on February 21, 2018. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. Ruth was born on July 10, 1941 in Xenia, to the late John and Garnet Cambell. She graduated from Xenia High School in 1959. Ruth went on to become a skilled beautician. She was a caring and compassionate woman. Ruth showed her compassion and serving heart by working as a housekeeper for Hospitality East.
Ruth married Nelson "Junior" Grimm, Jr. in 1965. The two were together, happily married for 39 years. Ruth took great pride and joy in her grandchildren. She loved to spend her free time doting on her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson "Junior" Grimm, Jr. in 2004; sister, Ruby Cyphers; brothers, James "Jim" Campbell and John Cambell; and nieces, Tammy McArn and Monica Cambell.
Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Michelle "Shelly" (Jason) Bolser; sons, Donald "Donny" (Cheryl Gard) Grimm, Jeff (Dreama) Grimm, and Brian (Angie) Grimm; grandsons, Travis Grimm, Blake (Renee Swallow) Grimm, Jakob Bolser, Josef "Jo Jo" Bolser, and Hunter Grimm; brother, William "Bill" (Debbie) Cambell; sister, Mary (Bill) Johnson; and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Ruth's niece, Debbie Sue, for her care, compassion, and love during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel, on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 4pm. The family will receive friends and loved ones for two hours prior to the service (2pm-4pm).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ruth's memory to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
