Ruth Geneva Smith, age 99, of Seneca, SC, formerly of Beavercreek, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016. She was born October 29, 1916 in Woodstock, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Daniel Stevens and Pearlie (Brown) Stevens, loving husband of 77 years, Joe Mack Smith, 6 sisters and 8 brothers.
Geneva is survived by her 2 sons, Charles and wife, Kaye, and Donald and wife, Marilyn; 3 grandsons; 2 great grandsons.
She was the longest and oldest living member of Far Hills Community Church.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A funeral service will he held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, Seneca, SC.
