Ruth Emma Thomas, age 83 of Troy, passed away February 16, 2011. She was born January 24, 1928 in Marion,Ohio to the late Fred and Myrtle Osborne. In addition to her parents, Ruth Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Thomas; daughter, Joyce Thomas; and son, David Thomas.
Ruth Emma is survived by her children: Connie (Charles) Dixon, Fred (Melissa) Thomas and Kevin (MaLisa) Thomas; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Belvia Holloway.
She was a member of the Northridge Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Northridge Church of the Nazarene, 2215 Maplegrove Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior, 10:00 – 11:00 am. Reverend Paul Watkins officiating. Burial to follow at Willow View Cemetery. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
