Ruth E. Tubbs (Lightcap)

Ruth E.Tubbs (Lightcap), age 76, formerly of Xenia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 27, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Tubbs; parents, Lawrence & Mina Lightcap; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Ruth is survived by her children, Patti (Jeff) Earley, Kenneth (Cecile) Tubbs, Scott (Emily) Tubbs and Deanna (Bill) Teverbaugh; 15 grandchildren; siblings, Howard Lightcap, Richard Lightcap and Clara Boyatt; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 6, 2014 from 1-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her daughter, Deanna Teverbaugh for funeral expenses.
Ruth will be laid to rest with her husband, Joseph at the Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
