Ruth L. Dayton, age 85 of Beavercreek, OH passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 17, 1932 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, the daughter of John Willie and Lewie (Crawford) Logan.
Ruth is survived by her husband Jack, her son Jack II of Niceville FL, daughter Becky (Gary) Stanek of Beavercreek, granddaughter Taylor Stanek and her sister Betty Smoot of Carlisle Ky; and other family members and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mae Logan, brothers, Gilbert, Billy, Ivan and Pete.
A gathering will be held on July 14, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A burial of her cremated remains will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions are requested to the North Side Christian Church, 733 Country Club Dr, Xenia, OH 45385 or the charity of the donor's choice in Ruth's name.
