Ruth Collins, age 91 of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Patriot Ridge Community. She was born March 3, 1927 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Gervin and Sarah Short.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Collins.
Ruth is survived by her children, Linda Collins, Curtis A. Collins, Melanie Collins (Dan Galbreath); grandchildren, Angel Galbreath (Greg DeLong), Ashley (Aaron) Altop, Matthew Collins, Anthony Collins; great grandchildren, Taylor (Clint) Taynor, Jayden Rambo; great-great grandchild, Zeke Taynor; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, OH.
