Ruth Ann Copas
Born April 20, 1931 and died March 13, 2012 after a lengthy illness at the age of 80.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Emmett O. Copas, Daughter-in-law Martha Copas, Grandson Jonah Copas and great-grandson Jake Cochrane. Ruth was a graduate of Oakwood High School class of 1949 and a graduate of Miami Jacobs College. She worked at Kettering Recreation Center Day Care Center. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Kettering Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Dayton and Dr. Mariano Iberico for all of their wonderful care of Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton or the American Lung Association.
