Ruth Allen

Ruth Hipple Allen, age 89 of Dayton, was welcomed to her eternal Heavenly home by her Savior Jesus on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was born April 26, 1929 in Middletown, Ohio the daughter of James and Gilla (Cundiff) Ross. She spent the majority of her childhood life in Grassy Creek, KY.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Arthur and Gilla Ross; husband, Walter L. Hipple; sisters, Georgia Farrell and Alma Leach; brother, Roger Ross.

Ruth loved to tell others about her Savior Jesus. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, canning and solving crossword puzzles with friends. She enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren immensely.

Ruth is survived by her son, Randolph L. "Squirrel" Hipple; daughter, Sherry (Thomas) Bucher; brother, James Arthur Ross, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Baumgardner and Margaret Evelyn (Edward) Check; grandchildren, Ryan Arthur Hipple, Nicholas Ross (Nicole) Bucher, Andrea Lauren (Evan) Howton and Benjamin Thomas Bucher; great grandchildren, Everly Howton, Madeline Bucher and Bowen Bucher; wonderful friend, Flo Moles. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at June 9, 2018 at 10:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424.
