Rusty E. Hurst

Rusty E. Hurst, age 71 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1949 in Dayton, OH to the late David E. Hurst and Mary E. (Stutz) Huemmer. In addition to his parents, Rusty was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry R. Hurst; sister-in-law, Darlene Hurst and step-father, Albert R. Huemmer.
He is survived by his sister, Sandra L. (Hurst) Kinney and her significant other, William A. Wallace; nephews, Albert C. Hurst, Rick Miller and Donnie Miller; niece, Donna Gibson and other nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Rusty proudly served his country during a tour of Vietnam in the U.S. Marine Corp as a flight mechanic. He had a strong faith and was devoted to his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
A graveside service with military honors will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek, OH.
"The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public places."
