Russell A. "Rusty" Smith, 69, of Dayton, OH passed away on May 4, 2017. Rusty was born on June 25, 1947 in Dayton, OH to the late Louis White and Jacqueline (Tucker) Smith.
Rusty is survived by his son, Anthony "Tony" A. (Andrea) Smith; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Sandra (Lawrence) Brunner, Caroline Edison, Diane Hawkins; brothers, Barry Ray White, Barry Dean White, Michael White, and Randy McDaniel, as well as numerous other family and friends.
He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army.
Visitation will be from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering) with his service following at 6:30 pm. Burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
