Russell Sams, age 92 of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Sycamore Glen Health Center. He was born September 4, 1922 in Boston, Ohio the son of Wilbur Guy and Garnett Russell Sams.
He is preceded in death by his parents,a brother, Wilbur Guy Sams, Jr.
Russell is survived by his wife, Hazel; a daughter, Kathleen Sue (Charles) King; a son, Daniel (Debbie) Sams; two granddaughters, Trista Sams and Anika Sams; and a sister, Martha Griffith. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 10:00 am at Miamisburg Church of the Nazarene (1216 Richard St., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342). Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.
Burial will be in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens.
