Russell S. Clay, age 66, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Russell was born in Dayton on December 7, 1957 to the late Eddie Dudley Jr. & Eleanor Clay Dudley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Jean Dudley; sister, Joyce Dudley; niece, Patrice Simmons; and nephews, Irvin Herron and Terrence Taylor.

Russell is survived by his children, Sonya (Noah) Oglesby, Tonya Pryor and Steven Pryor; grandchildren, Dae'Shawn Pryor, Eri'on Pryor, Ja'Shay Pryor, Elijah Oglesby, Anisha Pryor and Johb Oglesby; siblings, Terry (Christy) Clay, Teresa (Earl) Dudley, Jackie Dudley, Danny Dudley, Chicketha (Clyde) Johnson, Tyron Dudley and Jeffery Dudley; niece and nephews, Eric, William, Robert, TJ, Phillip, India, Devon and Chad; aunt, Denia Herron; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Russell will be remembered for his great sense of humor-he had the ability to make everyone laugh. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 3:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.
