Russell "Russ" Hock

Russell "Russ" Hock, 61, of Dayton, passed away August 3, 2016. Russell was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 27, 1955 to the late Chester Lee Hock and Mary Boggs. In his free time, he enjoyed horses, fishing, Special Olympic, watching his favorite shows and spending time with his church family.
In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Hock.
He is survived by his brother, Eddie (Lynn) Hock; sisters, Marty (Jerry) Jones, Mary (Tim) Covill, and several nieces, nephews and special friends at his workshop.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 5 -7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will follow at 10:30am Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1707 Ohmer Avenue with Pastors Jerry Siler officiating. Burial will be at Lower Miami Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the family to help with expenses.
