Age 83, of Clayton, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006.
He is survived by his wife of the past 64 years, Charline B. (Schmidt) Crawford; three sisters, Alice Crawford, JoAnn Crawford, Ruth Roberts; and by nieces and nephews.
Russell was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ, a WW II U. S. Army Air Corps veteran, a member of the Mystic Lodge # 405 F&AM, , Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, the Antioch Shrine, and the American Legion Post # 675.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Pastor Dick VanTine will officiate. Interment will be at Willowview Cemetery.
If friends desire contributions may be made in memory of Russell to the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center, 6790 Webster St., Dayton, Ohio 45414.
