Russell H. Ishmael, age 93, of Moraine, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 17, 2013.
Russell served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from GM in 1981.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Montie L. Ishmael; step-son, Lloyd Bowman; daughter-in-law, Verle Bowman; step-grandchildren, Charise (Yancy) Johns and Ryan Bowman; step-great-great-grandchildren, Aaron and Preston Johns; special friends, Debi Luburgh and Ed Winkle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
