Russell loved his wife of 65 years, his 4 children, his 6 grandchildren and his 7 great grandchildren more than anything else in the world. He loved coaching his kids in little league baseball. He loved his garden and feeding his birds. He loved home grown tomatoes. He loved to go fishing. He loved watching the Cincinnati Reds on TV. He loved his art projects that he created with cardboard boxes and sharpie markers. He loved to go to coin shows and collect coins with family friend, DJ James. He loved to break out in song, and it didn't matter where he was. He loved to sing "You Are My Sunshine" to his great grandchildren, and he may not have known it, but he was their sunshine too. He had the best sense of humor and he was always in a good mood. He was the best at finding 4 leaf clovers. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a great grandfather. He was a Dad, and he will be missed. He was our sunshine, our only sunshine.
