FAGER, Russel L.
age 85 of Georgetown, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2005 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Georgetown. Russel was born May 5, 1920, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Ralph O. and Alma Fager. He served our country in the United States Army during World War II. Russel is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Fager Wardlow and husband Doug of Sardinia, OH; grandsons, Steven Wilson, Jr., Billy Wardlow, and Joey Wardlow all of Hillsboro, OH; granddaughter, Lydia Bothe of Hillsboro, OH; and sister, Gladys Creech of Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Fager; and brother, Everett Fager. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Robert Wackerman and Rev. Peter Courlas officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Hospice of Highland County.
