Russell Cardiff

Cardiff, Russell L. "Russ", age 85, of Dayton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was preceded in death by his son, Dustin "Dusty". Russ is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bettie; his 5 children, Larry(Vicki), Cindy (Steve) Brogden, Julie, Chris (Sherri), and Jonathan; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Glen(Betty); numerous nieces and nephews. He was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple for over 50 years; and was a Navy Veteran from WWII. Russ was an avid Buckeye Fan and had many interests including gardening ,history and his beloved schnauzers. He was well loved, and his sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Visitation 5-8 Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at Cornerstone Baptist Temple 1701 Ohmer Ave. Dayton, where Funeral Service will be held 11:00 Friday, with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Burial , with Military Honors, 10:00 Monday Nov.12, 2012 at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Temple Missions Fund.
