Rushia M. Sparks, age 87 of Beavercreek, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019. She was born September 12, 1931 in Morehead, Kentucky, the daughter of Corbett Dickerson and Minnie Quesinberry.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Dickerson.
Rushia is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Sparks, daughters, Debra A. (John) Riddle, Teresa Dianne (Kevin) Putt; brothers, Bill Quesinberry, and Ron (Jeanette) Quesinberry; She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Rushia was beloved by her family and will be remembered for her loving selflessness, her strength and her intelligence.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made Hospice of Dayton.
